Tremolo is a very ‘obvious’ type of effect that is very audible even at sensible settings. However, it is not one of the most obvious effects to apply to a bass groove. But for chords or for instance a bass solo intro, it can definitely add some character and variation. It is in such a context I will demonstrate the Mini Trem in the first 5 rounds.

In this first round, I will set the SPEED and DEPTH knobs at 25%. Initially with the normal speed, and then with the second footswitch punched in, doubling the tempo of the modulation. Finally, there is an example where I punch in and out the second footswitch changing the tempo a couple of times along the way.

As always, at the beginning of each round you will be able to listen to a DRY version first to know the raw starting point and/or ‘reset’ your ears.

In the next round, you can hear the same appraoch, but with 50% effect intensity.
