Bryan Beller of The Aristocrats came up with a cool delay setting for the tune Dance of the Aristocrats. The song was written by the band’s drummer and the sequence had a repetitive synth bassline that was hard to emulate, so Bryan set out to create a slapback delay with a very short feedback so only one note would be added, but with a very high FX volume setting, so it would be s loud as the original note.
Bryan has since then created this delay effect as his own TC TonePrint for the Flashback Delay pedal. In this video, Bryan tells the whole story and demos how it works and sounds.
